Washington, DC might be the capital of the United States, but there’s far more to see and do that just the White House and the US Capitol Building. Famous for it’s monuments, visitors can see the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, to name only a few, in the National Mall. Within a relatively close drive, Busch Gardens and Six Flags America offer family fun with amusement park rides, water slides, shows and exhibits.
