Direct Air Announces Non Stop Service from two cities beginning June 23rd
Myrtle Beach, SC – March 30th, 2011 – Direct Air, the community air service with corporate headquarters located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina announced today it will begin providing non-stop jet service between two more cities; Hagerstown, Maryland; and Lakeland, Florida, beginning June 23rd, 2011.
Both markets are considered by Direct Air as being underserved. Hagerstown will appreciate the fast, convenient 90 minute flight rather than the 10 hour drive by car from the popular Washington / Baltimore suburbs. The Lakeland Linder Regional Airport Will appeal to travelers in both directions as it is conveniently located within 30 minutes from downtown Orlando to the east and Tampa-St. Petersburg to the west. A great vacation region for SC residents to travel to and a large population of visitors who will enjoy the Myrtle Beach area and all it has to offer.
As part of the opening celebration, Direct Air is offering passengers flying between these new markets a special introductory fare of “$79 for 79 Hours”. This promotion begins with the press conference on Wednesday, March 30th and will end Saturday, April 2nd at midnight. Reservations can be booked at www.visitdirectair.com or by calling Direct Air’s Reservations Department at 1-877-432-3473.
