Myrtle Beach International Airport
Fourth Passenger Facility Charge Application
 
The Horry County Department of Airports has prepared a Written Notice with the intent of submitting a Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) application at Myrtle Beach International Airport in Horry County, South Carolina. The proposed charge is $4.50 per enplaned passenger, for an aggregate total of $104,020,700.00 to commence approximately March 1, 2010 and ending approximately April 1, 2029, or until collected PFC revenue, including interest thereon, equals allowable costs of the approved projects, as permitted by the regulation. The Department is seeking to fund certain eligible components of its “MYR Terminal Capacity Enhancement Project" (TCEP) project with the PFC funds.

A REVIEW PERIOD, during which the Horry County Council and Department of Airports will receive comments upon the proposed Written Notice, commencing on November 6, 2009. The deadline for receiving written comments regarding the Written Notice is December 6, 2009.  Comments should be directed to Pat Apone, Chief Financial Officer, and delivered to the Department of Airports offices at Myrtle Beach International Airport, emailed to hcda@horrycounty.org, or faxed to (843) 626-9096. Comments may also be mailed to 1100 Jetport Rd., Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29577 Attn: Pat Apone. Mailed comments must be postmarked by December 6, 2009.
