Proposed ALP12/11/2008

PROPOSED ALP:  County Council in Resolution R-143-07 adopted on September 4, 2007, directed staff topursue revisions to the Airport Layout Plan for MYR.

Delta Airport Consultants, Charlotte, NC, a nationally recognized professional airport planning firm, was engaged to provide the planning services and has accelerated the process to insure the separate terminal development project is not impeded.

A public review session of the proposed revsions was held on Nov. 24th, 2008 and a presentation was made to the Myrtle Beach City Council on Nov. 25, 2008. The revised ALP was review with the Airport Advisory Committee on November 12th and the Committee recommended approval.

County Council approved the plan on January 6, 2009 and the revised plan has been forwarded to FAA for their review and approval.
