Volunteer Ambassadors

The Myrtle Beach International Airport currently has volunteers who staff the information booths located on the first and second level of the terminal. The booths are open from 9A.M. until 8P.M. and the work shifts are 9A.M. - 2:30P.M. and 2:30P.M. - 8P.M.

The Ambassadors serve as goodwill emissaries by providing courteous, friendly assistance and information regarding services offered at the airport as well as information regarding the Grand Strand Region to the passengers, visitors and guests of the Myrtle Beach International Airport. The Ambassadors are the first impression the passenger receives upon entering the Grand Strand Region and they are committed to the enhancement of customer service at Myrtle Beach International Airport.

You can make a tangible difference in a traveler's day by volunteering as an airport ambassador and we would love to have you assist us in making the traveler's experience one to remember. Individuals should have an outgoing personality, possess good communication skills, work well with people and be reliable.

If you are interested in volunteering as an airport ambassador, you may pick up an application from airport administration between 8A.M. and 5P.M., Monday through Friday or contact Tammy Baxley at 843-839-7342. Once you have been accepted as an ambassador, an orientation session will be scheduled for you.
