Lexington, KY

Lexington is known for horse farms and thoroughbred racetracks like Keeneland. The Kentucky Horse Park features the International Museum of the Horse, the Hall of Champions, and many equine breeds.
When one thinks of Lexington, two things come to mind - thoroughbred horses and college basketball. But Lexington also ranks as the 17th Cleanest City in the World by Forbes Magazine and nearly 40 percent of its citizens hold a Bachelor’s degree – that’s 10th in the nation! Besides being one of the cleanest and smartest cities you’d ever want to visit, Lexington has a culture that reflects its unique blend of old-fashioned Southern charm and modern sensibilities. Hollywood star George Clooney hails from the Lexington area – and he’s just one of the two-legged variety. Those with four legs include Man O’ War and Secretariat.
