Things to do while you wait

Your time at the airport doesn't have to be dull. There are plenty of activities to keep your travel time interesting, from shopping and dining to working on your fitness. The team at MYR has even devised an airport scavenger hunt to keep you and your little ones busy while you wait.

DINING & SHOPPING

Grab a bite

Whether you're grabbing a snack to hold you over, sitting down for a meal before your flight, or just looking for some last-minute souvenirs, Myrtle Beach International has great dining and shopping options for you.

Dining

We have 11 different restaurant and concessions options to choose from. Your options range from top-notch Mexican fare in a funky atmosphere at Nacho Hippo to great American eats at Pavilion Bar & Grill. We've got some of your favorite chains like Chick-Fil-A, Subway, and Cinnabon, plus several great spots to grab a quick snack.

Shopping

No matter where you're at in our terminal, shopping is never far away. We have multiple locations of Hudson News for you to stock up on media, books, and entertainment, as well as several great kiosks devoted to serving your travel needs.

SIGHTSEEING

Enjoy the sights

Whether you're grabbing a snack to hold you over, sitting down for a meal before your flight, or just looking for some last-minute souvenirs, Myrtle Beach International has great dining and shopping options for you.

Plane spotting

After you've made your way through TSA, grab a seat in one of the bright, beachy chairs along the walkway to Terminal B and watch planes enter and exit the airspace at MYR. Bonus points for those who can name the airline before the plane's tail is visible!

Scavenger Hunt

There are so many things to find in the Terminal Building, from a person eating chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A to a passenger hurrying through the airport to make a connecting flight. Click below for a scavenger hunt checklist and put on your detective glasses to see how many you can find.

FITNESS

Get a workout in

Don't let a travel day knock you off of your fitness routine. Get your steps in, do some stretching, or perform body weight exercises while you have some down time in your travel schedule.

Walk the terminal

  • Walking from Nacho Hippo to Gate B6 is 425 steps.
  • Walking from Nacho Hippo to Gate A7 is 127 steps.
  • Walking from the ends of each terminal on the upper level (Gate A7 to Gate B6) is nearly 600 steps and more than 0.25 mile. Do this loop four times and you've walked a whole mile in our terminal.

Use Your Carry-On

You're already lugging around a 20-plus pound bag, you might as well use it to your advantage. There are many exercises that can be done with your luggage or just your body weight as resistance. Get some ideas here.
