Accessibility

MYR strives to be an accessible facility for all. If you need special assistance, please contact your airline in advance to arrange services.
Many airlines serving Myrtle Beach International Airport have options through their ticketing and reservation system that allow customers to identify specific needs that the airline will work to accommodate. When checking in, notify an airline attendant if you need wheelchair assistance from the curb to your boarding gates.

Travelers with disabilities and medical conditions may call TSA Cares toll free at 1-855-787-2227 or visit TSA Special Procedures prior to traveling with questions about screening policies, procedures and what to expect at the security checkpoint.

MYR strives to be an accessible facility for all travelers, with specially designed ramps, curbs, doors, and elevators to aid those using wheelchairs, signage that features Braille for visually impaired travelers, and accommodations for Service Animals.

Service Animals

Myrtle Beach International Airport allows service animals in the Terminal, but individual airlines should be consulted on the rules and regulations for air travel.

Service animals are subject to TSA screening, but will not be separated from passengers during the process.

Accessible Parking

Myrtle Beach International Airport offers designated handicap parking spaces for your convenience in all public and employee parking lots.

HANDICAPPED PARKING

Designated handicapped parking spaces are located in all parking lots for persons with appropriate license plates or hanging placards. The person issued the license plate or placard must be traveling.

COURTESY PARKING

MYR offers one free day of parking in our short-term or long-term parking lots, then standard rates apply. To obtain the fee waiver, the customer must display their handicap placard to the parking attendant and be present in the vehicle when exiting the parking lot.
