Carriers must ensure that individuals with disabilities (including hearing and vision impairments) have timely access to the same information provided to other passengers which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
MYR is able to page hearing-impaired passengers through our Flight Information Display System (FIDS). TDD/TTY service is also available in the terminal.
Mamava Lactation Suites provide a private space for nursing mothers. MYR’s suite is located between Concourse A & B, across from Subway. The suite is wheelchair accessible and can also accommodate strollers. To access the Mamava suite, download the Mamava Mobile App. For alternative access to the suite, you can call the airport communications center.
Trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are on staff 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) are located throughout the terminal building. For non-medical assistance, contact the closest Airport employee or police officer.
Designated parking areas for drivers of vehicles displaying proper identification are readily available at the airport. There are ample parking spaces for physically challenged and disabled patrons in all of our parking lots.
If you need additional assistance, please contact the on-duty parking supervisor at 843-916-9287. MYR provides one (1) free day of parking in the short-term or long-term parking lots for travelers with a valid handicap placard. To obtain the fee waiver, the customer must display the placard to the parking attendant and the individual issued the placard must be present in the vehicle when exiting the lot.

Accessible restrooms are available on levels 1 and 2 of the terminal building and inside of the car rental building.
Service animals are allowed throughout the terminal when accompanying their owners. An outdoor animal relief area is available in the grassy area outside of door 6 on the lower level in baggage claim. An animal relief areas is also available after the security screening checkpoint on the second level adjacent to Subway and Concourse B. Please contact your airline for further information and access.
Coast RTA’s Paratransit services are designed for persons who are unable to access fixed routes independently and safely due to physical and mental disabilities. Individuals who cannot safely board, ride or get to or from a regular public transit bus because of a disability may be eligible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
With advance notice, most car rental companies provide rental cars equipped with hand controls. Contact your car rental company for further details.
Departing and arriving passengers can utilize wheelchair assistance provided by Superior Aircraft Services. Contact your airline to schedule assistance at no extra charge. You may also request a wheelchair in-person upon arrival at MYR.
The Quiet Room in the baggage claim area is available for passengers with special needs to destress during their travels.
