What are the hours of operation?

Myrtle Beach International Airport opens at 4:00 a.m. every day, and closes with the last flight of the day. TSA is open 4:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Who do I contact for baggage assistance? Do you have baggage carts?

Superior Aircraft Services is available on the curb to assist you with luggage and wheelchairs when checking in for your flight. 

What restaurants and shops do you have in the airport?

  • Boardwalk Cafe is on the lower level of the terminal.
  • Nacho Hippo Mexican Cantina, Chick-Fil-A, Steak n Shake, Caribou Coffee, Subway and Salt & Tide are located on the 2nd floor at Concourse A.
  • Starbucks and are located on the 2nd floor between Concourse A and B.
  • The Pavilion Bar and Grill and GrabnGo are located on the 2nd floor in Concourse B.
  • Hudson News Gift Shop is located on the 2nd floor in Concourse A and B.

Who do I contact regarding Check-In Times, Escorting a Child, Escorting Elderly, Flight Cancellations, Arrivals, and Departures?

To get more information about specific check-in times, as well as any questions you may have regarding escorting a child or elderly passenger, flight cancellations, and arrivals/departures, the best course of action is to contact your airline directly.

Does Myrtle Beach International Airport have lockers for luggage storage?

No, there are no lockers at Myrtle Beach International Airport for luggage storage. All airport baggage storage has been suspended by order of the TSA.

Do you have a designated pet relief area?

Yes, Myrtle Beach International Airport has two pet relief areas. The first pet relief area is located outside of door #6 in the Baggage Claim Area. The second pet relief area is located inside the airport terminal, on the departure level adjacent the entrance to Concourse B. Owners are asked to please clean up after their animals, using the waste disposal bags and receptacles provided.

Is smoking allowed anywhere in the airport or is there a designated area outside?

Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) is a non-smoking airport. However, we understand that some guests may choose to vape. We would like to remind all visitors that vaping is not allowed within the airport premises.

For those who do smoke or vape, we have provided a designated smoking area outside of door #6 in the baggage claims area. We kindly ask our smoking guests to dispose of their cigarette butts in the designated containers and not to smoke in non-smoking areas.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our airport smoke-free and healthy for everyone.

Where is the best place to park for an extended period at the best price?

The most affordable parking option for long-term parking is in the economy lot, with a maximum of $12 per day. For all parking options, visit Parking and Directions.

How do I know what items are allowed to be carried on aircraft?

Please contact your airline. Please note that any item allowed on any aircraft must first pass through the TSA security checkpoint.

If I need to get a message to someone traveling through the airport who do I need to contact?

If you're trying to reach someone who is on their way to the airport, or already here, we recommend you speak to the respective airline, who may be able to help further. Our information booth located outside of the baggage claim area also has a paging system for assistance needed within the airport.

Who do I contact for information concerning lost baggage, oversized baggage, fees for baggage, lost baggage, check-in times for baggage, and weight or size of baggage?

Can I travel with a hermit crab?

Hermit crabs are an exciting souvenir from your time at the beach, but are not intended for air travel.  You may be denied boarding by your airline if you attempt to bring them on the plane, so please leave hermit crabs at the beachwear stores.

Who do I need to contact if I need to get a wheelchair?

Please contact your airline to arrange for wheelchair assistance throughout the duration of your travel journey. If you require immediate assistance upon arriving at MYR, Superior Aircraft Services is a dedicated porter service with team members available to assist passengers curbside.

I'm concerned about weather conditions and any changes with my flights. Who do I contact for information?

Does the Myrtle Beach International Airport have a "calming room" or "quiet room?"

Yes, the Airport offers a "Quiet Room." The "Quiet Room" is located in the baggage claim area, near the airlines Baggage Service Offices. The "Quiet Room" is not a sleeping area but for people with special needs who need to de-stress.

Do you have pay phones for public use at the airport?

We have a courtesy telephone that is located at our information booth near the baggage claim. All local calls are free.
