The Horry County Department of Airports (HCDA), in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), announces the availability of the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the permanent full depth and width runway pavement rehabilitation of Runway 18-36 at the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), in Horry County, South Carolina. Pursuant to Title 49, United States Code, § 47106(c)(1)(A) and Section 102(2)(c) of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, the EA is provided for review for the public and federal, state, and local agencies.
The HCDA proposes the permanent full depth and width runway pavement rehabilitation of Runway 18-36 (Proposed Project). The EA has been prepared to disclose the potential economic, social, and environmental impacts of the Proposed Project. The research and analysis provided in the EA disclosed that the Proposed Project would not significantly affect the environment.
