NEWS RELEASE

Global Entry Event Coming to MYR

Global Entry interviews will be available for a limited time at Myrtle Beach International Airport from Monday, January 26, 2026, through Thursday, January 29, 2026. Interviews will be conducted in the airport’s FIS conference rooms, located in the former terminal building adjacent to the main terminal.

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler Program that provides expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving in the United States. While the program is especially beneficial for frequent international travelers, there is no minimum travel requirement to qualify. Membership is valid for five years and allows participants to use automated Global Entry kiosks at select airports. For complete program details, visit the CBP website at https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry.

The program is designed to enhance travel efficiency while maintaining a high level of security. Although Global Entry speeds the entry process, members remain subject to all applicable laws and regulations and may be selected for additional screening at any time. Global Entry members are also eligible for TSA PreCheck®, which expedites security screening at participating U.S.airports.

Individuals interested in participating in the interview event must complete a Global Entry application and receive conditional approval before scheduling an interview. Applicants who have not yet applied may do so; however, processing times vary, and the airport cannot guarantee conditional approval in time for this event. To apply, visit the Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) website at https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/ and select “Apply Now.” Applicants must create a TTP account, submit a Global Entry application, and pay the $120 non-refundable application fee online at the time of submission. Once reviewed, applicants will receive an email notification if they are conditionally approved and eligible to schedule an interview. For applicants who have already received conditional approval, interview appointments for this event are now available and may be scheduled through the TTP website.
