Southwest Airlines Announces New Flights to Denver, CO from the Myrtle Beach International Airport in 2023

Myrtle Beach, SC, October 27, 2022 – Travelers at the Myrtle Beach International Airport can look forward to new flights to Denver, CO on Southwest Airlines in 2023.

The new service will operate on Saturdays, beginning June 10th. Tickets are available for purchase at www.southwest.com.

Denver, CO is a popular destination for residents and Grand Strand visitors. The region welcomes tens of thousands of residents from the Denver MSA each year, and demand for increased flight options to the 'Mile High City' is rapidly growing.

Denver International Airport is currently the farthest airport west of the Mississippi with air service from MYR. Travelers looking to fly to other west coast destinations will benefit from added connectivity on the Southwest network with a layover in Denver.

"We are thrilled to offer customers more nonstop options for reaching Denver this summer," said Scott Van Moppes, Director of Airports. "This market is one of our top underserved markets, and more flight options are needed to keep up with the growing passenger demand. We are so pleased that Southwest will help to fulfill that need, and we have no doubt that the new route will be highly successful. We thank Southwest for their continued partnership."
