Myrtle Beach International Airport is thrilled to announce its accomplishment in achieving GBAC STAR™ facility accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a division of ISSA – The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, to prevent and respond to outbreaks.

  • All surfaces are cleaned daily and before each flight
  • Restrooms are cleaned daily and before each flight
  • Wheelchairs & Luggage carts are sanitized after use
  • TSA bins are sanitized after use; benches and tables are sanitized frequently
  • Restrooms are entirely touch-less: automated soap/water/drier/towel dispensers
  • Sneeze guards are installed at key interaction points
  • Additional hand sanitizer has been placed throughout the terminal
  • Social distancing floor decals are installed in high-traffic areas

Tips for Healthy Travel

  • Wash your hands with soap and water regularly for at least 20 seconds

  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing – throw away all tissues after each use
